*thanks snow much*

I'm always excited when I'm able to share something I've created for a design team assignment. This is a simple thank you card I created using the "oh so cute" inuit girl. I took a papaya notecard and sanded it a bit and was absolutely giddy to find that it dramatically "muted" it's color. I tossed in a bit of cabana blue and a scalloped strip I cut from a bark notecard, and the end result was a perfectly warm and cozy color combination!

This is one of many cards featured in the December 21st issue of A Muse News. If you haven't subscribed yet, you can sign up here.

*you're my cup of tea*

Here's another card I made using the new A Muse images. I love this tea cup and saucer, and the sentiment is so sweet! Wouldn't it be perfect for tea party invites?

*you make my heart sing*

It's been a while since I've created anything *shabby*. I love the shabby style. It has such a cozy, warm feel about it. And I LOVE this cardstock! The colors are fabulous, and it's even textured! I ran across it the other night at Michaels. I wasn't even looking for it. It just found me. It comes in the Classic K Margo Mat Pad by K&Company. It was marked down to $2.99. What a bargain!

a few of my favorites

You probably already know how much I *love* polka dots, but this project showcases a few of my *other* favorite things...pocket cards, scalloped edges, A Muse's new Madiera 4-bar notes, "this cuter than anything I've ever seen" little bird from A Muse's most recent release, and sentiments written in the cutest handwriting ever!

I made this for my friend and her husband who recently bought their first home. Now I just have to send it!

i *heart* Elzybells

Many of you already know that A Muse is the exclusive North American distributor of the sweet line of stamps called Elzybells. If you didn't know...then I'd be happy to enlighten...and enable you! Here's a card I made using *winter girl*. Isn't she cute? You can see the rest of the Elzybells winter collection here.

I've been *tagged*...

by Geeta. Here's the rules:

• Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog.• Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself on your blog, we all want to know them.• Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.• Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

7 random things about me:

1. My father owned a construction company when I was growing up, and since I didn't have any brothers, my sister and I were the "sons he never had". We learned just about everything. We dug footings, poured cement, shingled, painted, wired, and plumbed. My dad's philosophy was that we could do anything a boy could do. While I didn't appreciate it at the time, I am now very grateful that I learned so many things, especially how to work hard.

2. I am absolutely terrified of bats!

3. I had a huge gap between my front teeth before I got braces.

4. I'm a morning person. I *love* waking up at 6:30 when everyone is still in bed, and having and hour or so all to myself.

5. I love Starbuck's Espresso roast coffee, but if I run out of cream, I'd rather skip it all together than drink it black.

6. I am the world's worst golfer.

7. One of my favorite movies is "What's Up Doc?".

Now I've got to *tag* 7 people. Here they are:

1. Jennifer
2. Kimberly
3. Kim
4. Anna
5. Mary Jo
6. Moralia
7. Roree

a little *sneak peek* ... Meet Sadie Clementine!

Tomorrow, Linda will be posting all the new images on the A Muse website. This has got to be my favorite release yet! But to tide you over until then, I will give you a little sneakity peek of the little girl bear that is part of the collection. Isn't she sweet?

On November 17th, we adopted a baby kitten. We named her Sadie. This is the adoption announcement I created for this most special occasion.
