*vintage thank you*

Here's a card you might already have seen a few weeks ago over at A Muse News. This is one of those designs that are great for when you're in a pinch and need a card fast! It could be used for any number of occasions by simply swapping out the sentiment.

If you haven't tried any of A Muse's clear stamp sets yet, let me suggest Bracket Frames. The frame I used on this card is one of my favorites... and it's perfect for showcasing a sweet little scene!

*shrinky dinks snowman*

This morning I dug out a package of shrinky dinks that I picked up at Michaels a few weeks ago, and all I can say is SHRINKY DINKS ARE AWESOME!!! I can't get over how they shrink down to this darling little miniature size! After I admired my tiny little snowman , I ran upstairs to share my excitement with my husband. Well, he wasn't quite as excited as I was, but even he thought it was pretty cool.

This snowman is from the Winter Wonders set by The Saltbox Studio. It's one of my favorite sets, and you can bet I'll be shrinkin' every single snowman!

*Seattle Greetings*

Here's another sneak peek of the new Trees 2 set. You're probably wondering where the tree is! See the clouds? They're actually the tree tops for one of the new trees! Don't they make fabulous clouds? I really thought I was on to something... just about to get the big head for such an ingenius discovery when I realized that The Stampin' Queen herself, Julie Ebersole had come up with the same idea! Be sure to check out her amazing card here. Great minds think alike, eh? (((wink)))

*to a deer friend*

Here's another tree from the soon-to-be-released Trees 2 set by A Muse. It actually comes in a bit more "naked" version... without the tree top, so you can either leave it just the way it is or get creative and give it a fun shape!

*a very girly graduation*

I don't have to tell you how talented Jennie Moczan is. She hosts the amazing weekly challenges over at the A Muse Addicts site, and she makes some of the cutest cards ever! Her Owl Party Card was my source of inspiration for this very pink and very girly graduation card. I will be giving this to my friend's daughter, Brittany, who just completed her homeschool studies.

Have you seen any of the fun sneak peeks of the new tree sets that A Muse will be releasing September 22nd? Be sure to check the creative team member's blogs for ideas that are sure to inspire you!

*new A Muse clear sets*

A Muse has done it again... this time with two new clear sets, Trees 1 and Trees 2. This card gives you a sampling of both. The sentiment is from Trees 1, and the tree is from Trees 2. These sets are the perfect addition to the A Muse collection and a must-have for your personal collection. I made a fun little discovery when I was cutting out the top of the tree. Wouldn't it make a fabulously dreamy cloud? And the sentiment... it truly makes my heart happy! It speaks volumes about the power of hope and a positive spirit. I hope you have a beautiful day... and that a singing bird lands in your tree!

ETA: Oops! I forgot to include the card credits with my original post! I just added them above.
Donna, to answer your questions: All papers are by A Muse. You can get them here. And here's how I did the grass. I cut the green madiera patterned paper with Fiskars mini scalloped scissors, and then carefully snipped between each scallop. I sanded the edges, sponged over them with VersaMagic tea leaves chalk ink, and then roughed them up with my finger. Easy-schmeesy!

*thanks so much*

I'm in love with the new "Sweet Bella" collection from Stampin' Up! Bella Blossoms is my favorite set in the new Idea Book. I just adore this flower! The details are amazing especially when you pop the layers up on dimensionals and add a little sparkle with a clear spica glitter pen. I'm also in love with the new riding hood red "in color"... so much so that I wish it would become a permanent color.

I was first introduced to stamping five years ago through Stampin' Up, and this card reflects my original style. I have a hard time describing exactly what "my style" truly is. I guess it's a mix of things... shabby, vintage, romantic. What's your style?

*oh what fun!*

Time has gotten away from me, and I can't seem to figure out where the last few weeks have gone! The kids are back in school, and it's taken a bit longer than usual for us to get back into the swing of things. I sent my baby off to kindergarten, and after having a little one at home for the last 12 years, it has been a huge change for me. I'm afraid I don't deal with change all that well, but I've managed to adjust. I'm just hoping that one of these weeks I will get my act together and actually get a few things accomplished during the course of the day!

I haven't had a chance to stamp much lately, so I thought I would share a card that I made a while back. I have to admit that I'm not much of a camping girl, but I could probably be talked into pitching a tent out in the backyard and sleeping under the stars... for a night or two.
